30 best NFL players to win a Super Bowl with 2 or more teams: 8. Ted Hendricks

Stats:

  • 26 INTs
  • 9 sacks

Whether he was knocking players down between classes at Miami University or blasting the opposition as a member of the Raiders, Ted Hendricks was always getting it done.

His time at the University of Miami was so dominant that he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. It doesn’t exactly come as a surprise considering that many of his records are still standing today. His 327 total tackles are the most in school history for a defensive lineman. Once he was drafted in 1969, he continued his dominant ways. It took him only three years to become both an All-Pro and Pro Bowler.

After winning four titles, one with the Ravens and three with the Raiders, Hendricks entered the twilight of his career. But even then, he aged gracefully. During the last four years of his career, Hendricks made four straight Pro Bowls. While he decided to hang them up at the age of 36, Hendricks could’ve protracted his career if he wanted. Still, after a pocket full of rings, endless accomplishments and a gold jacket draped over his shoulders, he had one helluva career.
