30 best NFL players to win a Super Bowl with 2 or more teams: 7. Charles Haley

Stats:

  • 503 tackles
  • 100.5 sacks

Charles Haley was a bonafide winner. Before Tom Brady came around and rewrote the championship history books, Haley enjoyed a comfortable lead in the ring count department. In 13 years, Haley’s team were the last one standing five times.

Bringing down the quarterback was easy for Haley. Once he stepped foot in the league, he registered 12 sacks and consistently was amongst the league leaders. In only his third season, Haley helped the San Francisco 49ers take home the Super Bowl. While Joe Montana and Jerry Rice received the lion’s shares of the credit, and rightfully so, Haley had arguably the biggest impact on the defensive side of the ball in the playoffs, registering 3.5 sacks.

It wasn’t easy, but Haley once again played a key role in another title run the following year. After he took care of business with the 49ers, Haley took his talents to Dallas and joined the Cowboys. Unsurprisingly, the Cowboys won in his first year and three out of the four total years he spent there.

Hatley’s 100.5 sacks currently rank 32nd all-time and his ring count is still good for second-most in NFL history. Where ever Haley went, a dynasty immediately blossomed. That can’t be just a coincidence.
