30 best NFL players to win a Super Bowl with 2 or more teams: 2. Peyton Manning

Stats:

  • 71,940 passing yards
  • 539 TDs
  • 65.3 completion percentage

When it comes down to it, there simply aren’t many players in the history of the NFL that can compare to Peyton Manning, let alone surpass him.

There’s essentially nothing he hasn’t done, he was a 14 time Pro Bowler, 7 time All-Pro, 5 time MVP, and of course took home the Lombardi trophy on more than one occasion. In addition to the accolades, you simply can’t take a peek into the quarterback record books without running into Manning’s name numerous times. He ranks third in passing yards with 71,940, fourth in completed passes with 6,125, third in passing touchdowns with 539 and first in game-winning drives with 54.

If they could do it all over again, the Indianapolis Colts would love a re-do. After leading the franchise to a Super Bowl appearance and title, they washed their hands of him following a neck injury that many believed would end his career. His time on the street didn’t last long as the Denver Broncos snatched him. From there, Colts fans were brought to tears when Manning took home another regular season MVP and a Super Bowl.

Manning is an all-time great whose ring count doesn’t exactly reflect how dominant he was on the field. In short, the 2017 Hall of Famer could sit at the table with anyone in history.

Well, everyone except for the next man on this list.
