30 best NFL players to win a Super Bowl with 2 or more teams: 1. Tom Brady

Stats:

  • 581 TDs
  • 64 completion percentage

If there’s a list of the greatest to do anything on an NFL field, chances are, Tom Brady won’t just be on it but he’ll likely be at the top.

For whatever reason, there was a puzzling narrative surrounding the career of Brady. His time in New England was nothing short of spectacular. 14 time Pro Bowl appearances, three time MVP, three All-Pros, nine, I repeat nine Super Bowl appearances and six rings.

Still, despite the long list of achievements, there was an overwhelming belief that Brady wouldn’t be as successful in his career if it wasn’t for Bill Belichick. Although it was a never-ending argument, it appeared as though the two would never separate. Why break up something that’s been working for two decades? Many simply accepted that the fact that both Belichick and Brady were joined at the hip.

Then, something unexpected happened, the two finalized their divorce. Brady went on to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and enjoyed the type of success that shed all doubts on his all-time status. In just his first year away from whom many consider the greatest coach of all time, Brady delivered a Super Bowl to his new squad.

Belichick, on the other hand, failed to have a winning season and needless to say, failed to make the playoffs.

Not only is Brady by far the best player to ever win a Super Bowl with two or more teams but he officially put to bed the entire notion that he needed Belichick. All he ever needed was a football and teammates who listened.
