30 best NFL players to win a Super Bowl with 2 or more teams: 28. Tim McKyer

Stats:

  • 33 INTs
  • 470 tackles

Tim McKyer had a number of good years in the NFL, maybe even borderline great ones.

On multiple occasions, McKyer managed to put up seasons of at least six interceptions. Not only was he a ball hawk, often snatching the rock out of the air before receivers got their hands on it, McKyer was also a tackling machine. He registered 470 for his career and played a decent part on three separate championship teams.

In 1988 and 1989, McKyer helped lead the San Francisco 49ers to back-to-back titles. In 1989 in particular, his two interceptions during their run were vital. But no matter how solid McKyer was, he bounced around the league often. His career finally came to a close in 1997 as a member of the Denver Broncos. Although he only played sparingly, he left the game on top of the NFL world as the Broncos brought home the Lombardi.
