4. Tyler Biadasz, Center

When the Cowboys lost Travis Frederick to retirement, they knew things wouldn’t be easy at the center position. 2018 was a glimpse of this as he was lost for the season when it was first discovered that he was battling Guillain-Barre syndrome.

Frederick returned in 2019 but wasn’t his normal self which is why he decided to retire. He was still good, but not the guy he knew he could be.

With one former Wisconson star out, Dallas took another as they drafted Tyler Biadasz in the fourth round. He began the season behind Joe Looney but still managed to start four games and looked competent.

Heading into 2021, Looney is still not re-signed (although he hasn’t signed elsewhere either) which means Biadasz is the favorite to start, and Steven Mullenax of The Landry Hat believes he will hold the job down for the entire 2021 campaign. If he does, the Cowboys need him to be even better than he was as a rookie.

The good news is, he’s been making solid progress so far and has been getting positive reviews from the coaching staff. Easily one of the more underrated positions in all of the NFL, having a center who can get the job done would go a long way toward helping the team improve this coming season.
