Ranking every top QB-RB-WR trio in the NFL for 2021

11. Cardinals: Kyler Murray, James Conner, DeAndre Hopkins
Last year, the Arizona Cardinals increased their offensive output in a huge way when they traded for DeAndre Hopkins. A former first-round pick of the Houston Texans, Hopkins had an immediate rapport with the team’s No. 1 overall pick from 2019, Kyler Murray.
Hopkins had 1,407 yards on 115 receptions and six touchdowns. While the touchdown number is something Hopkins would surely want to see increase, he did cross the 1,000-yard mark for the fourth season in a row and has now done so in six of eight seasons in the NFL. He also hauled in more than 100 passes for the third season in a row.
Murray saw an increase in his efficiency with Hopkins as he completed 67.2 percent of his passes in 2020 for 3,971 yards with 26 touchdowns against 12 picks. He also continued to show his skill with his legs, running for 819 yards and 11 more touchdowns.
Arizona would have been much higher on this list with a better running back but they did at least get a talented player this offseason in James Conner. The former Pittsburgh Steelers running back had 721 yards and six touchdowns in 2020 and now has 2,302 yards in four seasons while averaging a healthy 4.3 yards per attempt.
Conner isn’t going to be threatening to win any rushing titles but he’s a solid piece that helps round out this trio.
