9. Bengals: Joe Burrow, Joe Mixon, Ja’Marr Chase

One of the youngest groups on this list is the Cincinnati Bengals trio of quarterback Joe Burrow, running back Joe Mixon, and rookie wideout Ja’Marr Chase. Entering 2021, Mixon is the most experienced member of the group with four seasons under his belt.

Mixon had back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns in 2018 and 2019 before missing 10 games in 2020. Overall, he has 3,359 yards and 20 touchdowns as a runner and 1,008 yards and five more touchdowns in the passing game.

He also hasn’t had an elite quarterback around him to take much pressure off of him but that seemed to be changing last year. No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow was on a roll as a rookie, throwing for 2,688 yards with 13 touchdowns in 10 games before suffering a torn ACL. Burrow looked to be a star in the making before his injury and if the Bengals can protect him going forward, he could become one of the best in the league.

Now in 2021, he has a new No. 1 target, or at least he’s new to the NFL. Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Burrow are very well acquainted since they were teammates at LSU and in 2019, Chase had 84 receptions for 1,780 yards and 20 touchdowns.

There were plenty of critics who hated the fact that Cincinnatti passed on Penei Sewell in favor of Chase but given their history together, it was a good move bringing in a star wideout that Burrow already has a rapport with.
