Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers went to the ESPYS and cleaned up with some hardware honoring their Super Bowl-winning season.

The accolades keep coming for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and now each side can add an ESPY award to their collection.

On Saturday, Brady received the award for best athlete in men’s sports, beating out several prominent figures, including NHL star Connor McDavid and NBA superstar Nikola Jokic. Brady now joins the likes of LeBron James and Drew Brees as figures to have received this award.

Meanwhile, the team took the award for the best team as a result of their Super Bowl LV win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Tampa Bay beat out nominees such as Baylor Men’s Basketball, Alabama Football, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers must now look ahead to a greater prize.

For those who may have forgotten, Tom Brady arrived in Tampa Bay last March and turned Tampa Bay from a 7-9 team into Super Bowl Champions. Brady brought several new faces to Tampa Bay, including tight end Rob Gronkowski, who made a joke about Brady not being in attendance for the award.

Brady also mentioned that football is a team sport and that the season is right around the corner, which it is. However, while an ESPY award is wonderful, the Buccaneers would rather be hoisting a Lombardi trophy, which they have a great opportunity to do so, having brought back essentially their entire championship team.

Tom Brady has won another award with the Buccaneers, and his legacy continues to grow. However, will he fill himself up with avocado tequila and attempt to toss the ESPY award? If he does, it’ll just be another sign of how much he’s shown his outward personality since he arrived in Tampa Bay.
