With teams set to get together for training camp later this month, we take a look at how everyone stacks up in this Pre-training camp 2021 NFL Power Rankings

Every team in the NFL has the same goal which is to get to the Super Bowl and win it all. The road to making that happen begins later in July when every team kicks off their training camp.

Unfortunately for some teams, it’s apparent even before the year kicks off that they won’t be toe ones holding up the Lombardi Trophy, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be giving it their all with the end goal of getting one step closer to that goal in the future.

With all that being said, we look at how each of the teams stacks up as we prepare for the season with this post-training camp 2021 NFL Power Rankings.

NFL Power Rankings at the start of 2021 training camp

10. . . Previous: 32nd. Houston Texans. 32. team

No team had a worse offseason than the Houston Texans did in 2021. The Texans first had Deshaun Watson voice his frustration and demand a trade — only to see him find himself in some hot water for some serious accusations of misconduct.

The expectations now are that Watson won’t be able to suit up for the 2021 season which means Tyrod Taylor is going to be the starter. Taylor is a fine player but to go from one of the top gun-slingers in the game to someone who has been a journeyman is a bit unsettling.

On top of that, they don’t have a lot of solid depth at many of their positions and their recent coaching hire doesn’t instill a ton of confidence. David Culley was the choice and he came from the Baltimore Ravens where he was the wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator.

The problem is, the Ravens’ passing game wasn’t exactly great so it was a bit of a curious hire. Put it all together and there’s not much confidence at all in this team.
