Previous: 28th. Philadelphia Eagles. 28. team. 54. .

Back to the new coaches, we have the Philadelphia Eagles who are being led by former Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni. We have yet to really see what Sirianni can do as a head coach and while the Colts’ offense had a lot of success, there’s a chance that most of that was due to head coach Frank Reich.

So far, Sirianni has brought up more questions about his fit than anything else. First off, he had an introductory press conference to forget. While it’s something that can be overlooked, the fact that he was later playing rock, paper, scissors with draft picks is a little more difficult to gloss over. Sure, coaches find unique ways to judge players but seeing how competitive they are at that game feels like someone stretching for ways to be different.

As for the roster, there are still a lot of questions as well for the Eagles. They should be better at receiver with DeVonta Smith being added but they still have a defense that needs improvement.

Having said all of this, the real question comes to quarterback Jalen Hurts. The second-year player took over for Carson Wentz and while he did enough to convince the team that he was the man, he still hasn’t proven that he can win in the NFL.
