Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields played with a crazy football fanbase in Ohio. He’s doing it again in Chicago and he loves it.

Things have been crazy for Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields. From the moment the team pulled the trigger on the blockbuster trade that landed them the talented Ohio State signal-caller, he’s been on top of the world.

Chicago fans are ecstatic at having Fields. They feel the Bears finally found the franchise quarterback they’ve sought after for decades. After a few seasons of negativity around the team, hope is now riding high. There is a pep in Chicago Bears Nation’s step.

It appears that Fields feels the same way about Chicago as the city feels about him. Recently, at his youth football camp in Ohio, Fields found out that some of the native Ohioans are becoming Chicago Bears fans.

He loves that, per CBS Sports:

"“The more fans that we can get, the better. I’m just going to try to convert all these kids to be Bears fans, for sure…I love it in Chicago…The city is nice. Of course, the fan base is really crazy about their Bears. Definitely feel the love from the fan base. The coaches are great. Everybody’s great at the organization. I’m definitely excited.”"

Fields is used to playing for a football-crazy fanbase. He played under the pressure of Ohio State and came through. He won 20 of his 22 starts and won two Big Ten titles. The fans in Ohio love and adore him.

Now he attempts to create the same love in Chicago. One thing is for sure, though, he’s up for the challenge. This is the same guy who says he’s made for the spotlight. He says he doesn’t feel the pressure that other quarterbacks wilted under trying to take over as the Bears’ franchise quarterback, per NBC Sports Chicago:

"“I’m made for this. I’m built for this. It’s nothing new to me.”"

He said that just prior to his first-ever practice in a Chicago Bears uniform. That says a lot about his competitive edge.

The Chicago Bears made a concerted effort to improve an offense that ranked near the bottom of nearly all of the categories. The team added speed on their wide receivers corps, Also, the Bears solidified the offensive line and added depth to the running back position.

For the time being, Fields will sit behind starter Andy Dalton and he’s just fine with that. He knows he is the future and his time is coming. That doesn’t mean he’ll make the decision to sit him an easy one. He’s working hard ahead of training camp and wants to perform as best as possible to put pressure on head coach Matt Nagy to stick to his plan for having Fields sit and learn.
