Los Angeles Chargers: Can a new-look offensive front make life easier for QB Justin Herbert?

He was put on the spot in Week 2 just before the team’s home clash with the then-defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs. Quarterback Justin Herbert was the sixth overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft and when the smoke finally cleared he would be named the 2020 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Still, the Los Angeles Chargers wound up 7-9 and the new head coach is Brandon Staley. But the more significant moves this offseason was the addition of new faces along the offensive line (via Ourlads). Right tackle Bryan Bulaga is back for his second season with the Bolts. But 2021 first-round tackle Rashawn Slater is joined by guards Matt Feiler (Steelers) and Oday Aboushi (Lions) and All-Pro center Corey Linsley (Packers). How fast can this group gel?

Denver Broncos: Who will emerge as the team’s starting quarterback?

This past season, the Broncos wound up officially starting four different quarterbacks and finished last in the AFC West. Drew Lock saw the majority of the work and was a disappointment after showing promise late in his rookie season. The 2019 second-round pick finished with 18 of Denver’s NFL-high 32 turnovers. The club traded for veteran Teddy Bridgewater this offseason as well but he also struggled this past year. Stay tuned…again.
