One bold prediction for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021-22: Urban Meyer proves he can turn around a franchise quickly

Urban Meyer truly enjoys taking on reclamation projects. In his first coaching gig at Bowling Green State in 2001, he took a horrific college school that had six straight losing seasons and led them to back-to-back winning years. He did the same thing at Utah, Florida and Ohio State.

Now, just because he’s in the pros, we’re supposed to believe that the Jaguars won’t have any success? Think again.

Despite losing 15 straight games last season, the Jaguars have plenty of talent. Of course, Trevor Lawrence figures to be a generational quarterback. But he won’t be playing with nobodies. Second-year player James Robinson rushed for over a thousand yards. Also, wide receivers Keelan Cole and D.J. Chark registered over 650 yards apiece.

Last but certainly not least, Tim Tebow will have a winning effect on this ball club. Call us crazy, but having someone who fans can zero in on will be a good thing. It’ll alleviate some of the pressure on the shoulders of Lawrence and allow him to play freely. Don’t expect a playoff berth from this squad but don’t expect a losing record either.
