One bold prediction for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021-22: Win a playoff game

The Las Vegas Raiders were right in the thick of things for a wild card spot in the AFC for most of last season. At the halfway mark, the Raiders held a record of 6-3. It isn’t just that they held a pretty good record but the teams they defeated up until that point were incredible.

Victories over the New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns and yes, even the Kansas City Chiefs – had many pondering that maybe, just maybe, the Raiders could make a push for not only the playoffs but also the Super Bowl. Of course, those dreams came crashing down as the Raiders won only two more games for the rest of the season.

Overall, they made a few key additions. Running back Kenyan Drake is fresh off running for a career-high 955 yards and ten touchdowns. John Brown has picked up two seasons of over a thousand yards in his career and first-round draft pick, right tackle Alex Leatherwood, has a ton of potential.

Couple those additions with three-time Pro Bowler Derek Carr and his propensity to throw for over 4,000 yards, the Raiders will not only make the playoffs but they’ll also win at least one game.
