One bold prediction for the New York Giants in 2021-22: Become dark horse Super Bowl threats

For the past four straight seasons and seven out of eight total, the New York Giants have failed to register a winning record. For two of those seasons, quarterback Daniel Jones has flashed potential but it’s time for both him and the team to stop teasing fans and show them exactly what they can do.

The Giants are primed and ready to enter the Super Bowl conversation. Their defense was solid, ranking in the middle of the pack in terms of passing yards allowed but in the top ten in terms of rushing yards allowed per game. We can expect the defense to take another step forward but this time around, the offense will join them.

Jones has a few bonafide weapons this year. Evan Engram and Sterling Shepard have always been very good players, Kenny Golladay gives them a legit number one option and all-purpose running back Saquon Barkley will remind the rest of the NFL world how great he is.

With a long list of reliable options, Jones will flourish and this team will rack up double-digit wins and enter the dark horse Super Bowl discussion.
