One bold prediction for the Seattle Seahawks in 2021-22: Best offense in the league

Despite being outside of the top ten in both passing and rushing yards last season, we fully expect the Seattle Seahawks to make an outrageous jump this year.

Their lack of offensive explosion wasn’t helped by a special teams unit that ranked near the bottom of the league as well. Still, regardless of everything working against them, the Seahawks will have the most prolific offense in the entire league in 2021.

Our reasoning is simple, Wilson is a monster and his weapons are vastly underrated. Like always, Wilson is going to be one of the front runners for league MVP. Just last season, he checked in at ninth in total passing yards with 4,212. But while it’s easy to point an impressive finger in the direction of Wilson, let’s take the time to acknowledge who he’s throwing the ball to.

D.K. Metcalf officially established himself as a top five receiver after finishing seventh in total receiving yards with 1,303. A player who has flown under the radar is the man standing on the other side of the field, Tyler Lockett. Whether he’s your number one or number two receiver, Lockett gives you his customary thousand yards per season. Also, not to be ignored, running back Chris Carson will be fully healthy this year and expect him to bounce back in a major way. The former Pro Bowler managed to put up back-to-back thousand yard seasons before he was ultimately denied a third due to injuries.

Russ is going to cook this year and with the weapons he has at his disposal, it’s going to be a full course meal.
