Titans vs. Falcons live stream, Preseason Week 1: Start time, TV channel, how to watch
The Tennessee Titans face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1 of the 2021 NFL preseason in a matchup that features familiar faces going up against one another.
The Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons have some shared interests, to some degree, as the two clubs open up their respective runs in the 2021 NFL preseason on Friday night at Mercedes Benz Stadium. After all, Atlanta now has former Tennessee offensive coordinator Arthur Smith as their head coach while Julio Jones was traded to Smith’s former club this offseason.
Jones, however, will not be playing on Friday night in the preseason and we shouldn’t expect to see many starters for this game. Having said that, with the depth of both teams 100 percent in question coming into the year, there should be a ton of interest in how the second- and third-stringers for each team perform.
With that on our minds, let’s quickly dive into how fans can tune in to watch the Titans vs. Falcons preseason matchup because, you know, what else are you going to do on Friday night?

NFL Preseason: Titans vs. Falcons preview
Though the Titans won’t have Jones (or likely Ryan Tannehill, A.J. Brown and Derrick Henry) on the field, we’re going to have a ton of questions start to get answered on Friday night. For one, the wide receiver depth has a big opportunity to step up, namely with guys like Josh Reynolds and rookie Dez Fitzpatrick needing to establish their presence as a possible WR3 on the depth chart.
With that said, we could see a number of defensive starters for Tennessee. This franchise rebuilt that side of the ball on the fly this offseason, so it’s likely we see even some veterans in addition to guys like Harold Landry and Jeffery Simmons for a few series so that unit can coalesce.
For the Falcons, fans have to be hoping to see rookie tight end Kyle Pitts. The team’s first-round pick wouldn’t have Ryan throwing to him but he has so much hype around him as the highest-drafted tight end in NFL history and with his physical tools that we just want to see him perform and start to deliver on the buzz.
The offensive line and defense as a whole will be in focus, though. Neither unit was impressive a year ago and, while there haven’t been huge resources invested in either, how those groups perform is still something to watch.
