8. Dallas Cowboys: DeMarcus Lawrence, Randy Gregory

A former second-round pick in 2014, DeMarcus Lawrence broke out in 2017 with 14.5 sacks and followed that up with 10.5 the next season. Those numbers have fallen off in the past two seasons with him recording just 11.5 total in 2019 and 2020.

Even though he hasn’t recorded the quarterback take downs as much as he would like, Lawrence is still a stud when it comes to run defense and gets a ton of pressure. This season, he should also have the best help he’s ever had since Randy Gregory is back and motivated to finally have success.

Gregory returned in 2020 and was arguably the best pass-rusher on the team but Mike Nolan kept him sidelined. That won’t be the case in 2021 and this could be a breakout season for him.

7. Denver Broncos: Bradley Chubb, Von Miller

There was a time when Von Miller was the absolute best in the business. The former Texas A&M product is arguably the biggest reason the Denver Broncos won their last Super Bowl and he enters 2021 with 106 career sacks. He’s also coming off a serious injury that forced him to miss all of 2020.

Across from him is Bradley Chubb who has 20.5 career sacks in 34 games. He was solid in 2020 but he was also coming off an injury then. He’s now a full year removed from his torn ACL and should be back to the form we saw when he was a rookie and had 12 sacks for Denver.
