6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Shaq Barrett, Jason Pierre-Paul

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made life miserable for Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl because of how good they were at getting after him. Shaq Barrett, who was. alate-bloomer, led the NFL with 19.5 sacks in 2019. He had just eight in 2020 but then went off with four sacks in the playoffs to remind us all how talented he really is.

Jason Pierre-Paul is their other starter and while he’s 32, he has 30.5 sacks in three seasons with Tampa Bay and also added two in the playoffs.

5. Chicago Bears: Khalil Mack, Robert Quinn

2020 was a down season for Robert Quinn after signing a massive five-year contract with the Chicago Bears. Quinn had just come off an 11.5 sack campaign with Dallas (which led the team) and was joining forces with Khalil Mack. However, he went backward as he had just 20 tackles and two sacks.

If he bounces back this season, it could mean huge things for the Bears. But even if he doesn’t, this is still a team that has the highest-rated pass rusher in the NFL according to Pro Football Focus. That in itself keeps them in the top five and if Quinn returns to form, this could begin to feel like a low ranking.
