4. Los Angeles Chargers: Joey Bosa, Uchenna Nwosu

It appears Uchenna Nwosu is going to get the start opposite Joey Bosa and while that might seem like a downgrade from Melvin Ingram, Nwosu was actually a top-25 edge rusher according to Pro Football Focus. As for Bosa, he was No. 3.

Like his brother who was already on this list, Joey can carry a defensive line all on his own. He has 47.5 sacks in five seasons and is one of the toughest players to block. Nwosu started to come on strong in 2020 with 4.5 sacks and could be primed for a breakout season.

3. Cleveland Browns: Myles Garrett, Jadeveon Clowney

There are two No. 1 overall picks on the Cleveland Browns defensive line, which almost feels unfair. They already had Myles Garrett, who they drafted in 2017 out of Texas A&M — and who has become the leader of their defense.

In four seasons, Garrett already has 42.5 sacks and has forced 10 fumbles. He’s also only played 16 games once, meaning his numbers can be even better if he stays on the field. They could also benefit from the presence of Jadeveon Clowney, the No. 1 overall pick from 2014 out of South Carolina.

Clowney hasn’t had the same success as Garrett but he’s still been very good. He’s also battled a lot of injuries, which is why they got him on an affordable deal. As long as he can stay healthy, this could be one of the best duos in the NFL.
