24. Baltimore Ravens: Tyus Bowser, Justin Houston

One thing the Baltimore Ravens do often is move on from veteran players and move someone up to replace them. They did this with linebacker C.J. Mosley as well as edge rusher Za’Darius Smith. Now, they are trying to do it again after letting Matt Judon leave.

Baltimore will likely start Tyus Bowser although they did get some help in free agency with the addition of Justin Houston. The 32-year-old Houston had eight sacks for the Colts this past season and will likely play in a rotational role. If he were even three years younger, he would be enough to push this team much higher in these NFL Power Rankings.

23. New England Patriots: Matthew Judon, Kyle Van Noy

The Patriots added Matthew Judon in the offseason to bolster their defensive line and brought back Kyle Van Noy after he was released by the Miami Dolphins. Judon is a talented player who will be moving from a linebacker role to a defensive end role, but New England knows how to use players to their strengths, so don’t expect there to be any growing pains there.

Judon has yet to hit double-digits in sacks but he has 34.5 in five seasons. Van Noy is listed as a linebacker but plays close to the line which is why he gets the nod as Judon’s teammate here. He had 6.5 sacks in 2019 with New England and six this past season. He should still produce, even if he’s not threatening to be an All-Pro.
