Fantasy Football Team Names Based on Young Up-and-Coming Studs

20. Baskin Dobbins (J.K. Dobbins)

We still don’t totally know what the role for second-year running back J.K. Dobbins is going to be in his second season. It’s expected to increase, which is why he’s coming off the board as RB16. However, he could be even higher if we could get any confirmation that he’s going to be the workhorse running with Lamar Jackson.

19. Herberts and Spices (Justin Herbert)

Coming off of his unreal rookie season, people are ready to anoint Justin Herbert as the next star quarterback. I’m not going to be the one that stops them, especially now that the Chargers O-line has been upgraded. Going as QB7 right now in drafts, that’s a nice range outside of the top 50 picks for a player who could finish in the top five at his position.

18. Baby Chark Do-Do-Do (DJ Chark)

As mentioned with Trevor Lawrence, I’m a bit concerned about the Jaguars due to the Urban Meyer factor and the unknown of the offense. Fantasy managers seem to feel similarly as a player who has popped with mediocre quarterback play is going as WR35 in what is a far more talented offense than he’s ever played in.

17. D.K. Have It Your Way (D.K. Metcalf)

Few players are as exciting to have on your fantasy football team as D.K. Metcalf. He’s proven everyone who let him drop to the end of the second round in the 2019 NFL Draft wrong already and is now going as WR5. That might be a little rich for my blood but the potential for him to live up to that billing is clearly there.

16. Natural Born Kylers (Kyler Murray)

Because of the rushing upside that’s so valuable in fantasy football, Kyle Murray is going as QB3 in drafts. That’s a little rich for my blood with him going ahead of guys like Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott by five and eight picks, respectively. This is a big-time prove-it year, however, for Murray and the Cardinals.
