The team heads to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers. And there are three members of the New York Jets to focus on.

It was a rough year for this franchise in 2020. The New York Jets dropped their first 13 games and finished with the second-worst record in the NFL. The new head coach is Robert Saleh, who comes over from the San Francisco 49ers.

It’s the second preseason game for the club in 2021 and the opposition is the reigning NFC North champion Green Bay Packers. Matt LaFleur’s club has come up one victory short of the Super Bowl two consecutive years.

As for the Jets, keep an eye on three performers during this clash at Lambeau Field.

There’s apparently a new mentality on the defensive side of the football when it comes to the Green and White this year. Veteran linebacker C.J. Mosley had something to say last week following the team’s 12-7 preseason victory over the New York Giants.

The topic was “sleeping” on a defense now under the command of new head coach Robert Saleh and coordinator Jeff Ulbrich.

"“If people come with that same mentality, they’re going to get their a– blown out,” said the six-year pro (via Ralph Vacchiano of SNY). “That’s 100 percent, whether we’re at MetLife or anywhere else. If they think there’s anything old about this Jets team, it’s not going to end well for them.”"

Of course, this comes from a player who played in only two games in 2019 with the club after five seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. Mosley opted out of 2020 but apparently likes what he sees with this unit.
