. Previous: 4th. Cleveland Browns. 4. team. 53.

There was something strange about the Cleveland Browns game on Sunday. They played nothing but backups and while the guys on the field weren’t elite players, they appeared to be a well-coached and disciplined team.

This is the same group that’s not too far removed from a 1-31 stretch under Hue Jackson and a 6-10 debacle with Freddie “No one matters” Kitchens. Now, Kevin Stefanski has them laser-focused and playing like a team with a purpose.

Sure, their win wasn’t anything exciting but they just keep looking like a solid, contending football team. And for these long-suffering fans, this is incredibly overdue.

. . Previous: 3rd. Buffalo Bills. 3. team. 16

The Buffalo Bills looked great this weekend as they beat up the Chicago Bears by a score of 41-15. It was a bit of a revenge game for Mitchell Trubisky who got the start and completed 20-of-28 passes for 221 yards and a touchdown. He had no interceptions, but could have had at least one, had the Bears defense been a bit more opportunistic.

It had to be a great feeling for Trubisky who saw his replacement, Andy Dalton, booed off the field. In addition to the play from Trubisky, the Bills had three rushing touchdowns and forced two turnovers. It was a solid game for them and something positive to build on.
