Play Monday Night vs. New Orleans Saints

After a loss at home to the Cleveland Browns last week, the Jacksonville Jaguars are now on the road to play against the New Orleans Saints. They’re entering the second week of the Urban Meyer experiment as well as the second start for quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

This isn’t a regular-season game so it won’t tell us everything we need to know, but having them on prime time could give us a glimpse of what to expect from this new duo in Jacksonville.

No one expects everything to be fixed in 2021, but if Lawrence can become the player that he’s expected to be, this team could finally be on the right track.

team. 54. . . Previous: 28th. Philadelphia Eagles. 29

This one was ugly for the Philadelphia Eagles. With Joe Flacco getting the start due to an illness that sidelined Jalen Hurts, the Eagles offense looked inept. Flacco had 83 yards passing and a pick and led them to zero points.

Nick Mullens relieved him and looked even worse, finishing with just 27 yards and a pick. Defensively, things weren’t any better. Philly had no answers for Cam Newton who had 103 yards and a touchdown. They also struggled with Mac Jones who had 146 yards passing.

Then, there was the running back. New England had 207 yards and four touchdowns on the ground in a 35-0 route. Thankfully this one didn’t count, but it also didn’t instill any confidence.
