Play Monday Night vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The New Orleans Saints are trying to figure out who will be their starting quarterback this coming season and they’re using the preseason to get their answer. Taysom Hill started in the first game and on Monday Night Football, head coach Sean Payton will allow Jameis Winston to get the game rolling.

A former No. 1 overall pick, Winston can still revive his career and this feels like the right place for him to be able to do just that. But it won’t be easy since Payton has what some call an obsession with Hill — and by “some” I mean “me.”

Monday night will be a great opportunity for Winson to make his presence felt and gain some ground in the competition.

Kirk Cousins made his 2021 debut for the Minnesota Vikings in preseason Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts. He played a few series but never really did anything too crazy, throwing just seven passes — while completing five of them for 23 yards.

This game, however, wasn’t about him piling up numbers. It was about knocking some rush off, then giving way to the backups — who ended up losing 12-10 to the Colts reserves. Minnesota is now 0-2 in the preseason with a game against the Kansas City Chiefs next week. Chances are, they probably won’t play their starters much then either — if at all.
