Fantasy Football Mock Draft 2021: Round 6

  • Team 12 (6.01): T.J. Hockenson, TE, DET
  • Team 11 (6.02): Aaron Rodgers, QB, GB
  • Team 10 (6.03): Chase Edmonds, RB, ARZ
  • Team 9 (6.04): Raheem Mostert, RB, SF
  • Team 8 (6.05): Chase Claypool, WR, PIT
  • Team 7 (6.06): Michael Thomas, WR, NO
  • Team 6 (6.07): Odell Beckham Jr., WR, CLE
  • Team 5* (6.08): Dak Prescott, QB, DAL
  • Team 4 (6.09): Logan Thomas, TE, WFT
  • Team 3 (6.10): Melvin Gordon, RB, DEN
  • Team 2 (6.11): Tyler Higbee, TE, LAR
  • Team 1 (6.12): Justin Herbert, QB, LAC

Normally, I’m a big proponent of waiting as much as possible on quarterbacks. But when Dak Prescott was still on the board in the sixth round, that was just too much value for me to ultimately overlook. Not only has he been taken off his pitch count after his shoulder injury in camp but he’s primed for a monster comeback season.

Dallas’ offense is loaded to the brim with talent, as everyone knows. But Prescott is the straw that stirs that drink, which is why he’s a legitimate MVP candidate this season. He’s going to throw it all over the yard to one of the best wide receiver corps in the league, which could make him coming off the board as the sixth quarterback drafted look quite silly.

Fantasy Football Mock Draft 2021: Round 7

  • Team 1 (7.01): Trey Sermon, RB, SF
  • Team 2 (7.02): Russell Wilson, QB, SEA
  • Team 3 (7.03): Jerry Jeudy, WR, DEN
  • Team 4 (7.04): A.J. Dillon, RB, GB
  • Team 5* (7.05): Zack Moss, RB, BUF
  • Team 6 (7.06): Tom Brady, QB, TB
  • Team 7 (7.07): Kenny Golladay, WR, NYG
  • Team 8 (7.08): Antonio Brown, WR, TB
  • Team 9 (7.09): Ja’Marr Chase, WR, CIN
  • Team 10 (7.10): DeVonta Smith, WR, PHI
  • Team 11 (7.11): Courtland Sutton, WR, DEN
  • Team 12 (7.12): JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, PIT

Trey Sermon would’ve been the ideal pick here as he has a path to being the top back in San Francisco, which is a highly productive fantasy player. But he was off the board and that meant another dart throw at the running back spot with Zack Moss.

It was clear last season that the Bills wanted to get Moss involved but the shortened offseason didn’t help him in trying to get work over Devin Singletary. Plus, Buffalo just didn’t run the ball as often as you’d like. While that may not change a ton, I expect to see more of Moss this season and he has the talent to, at the very least, punch in quite a few scores while getting red-zone work.
