Dallas Cowboys Offensive Line (9)

Tyron Smith, Connor Williams, Tyler Biadasz, Zack Martin, La’el Collins, Terence Steele, Connor McGovern, Ty Nsekhe, Matt Farniok | PUP – Josh Ball

Health will be the biggest concern for the Cowboys this season when it comes to their offensive line — which was seriously offensive during the 2020 campaign. Both starting tackles were out as Tyron Smith and La’el Collins missed all but two games (with Smith being the only one to suit up at all).

Zack Martin also missed time as did Tyler Biadasz who was trying to work into the rotation as a rookie center. All are healthy now and they’re joined by Connor Williams who fans seem to relentlessly despise for some reason. He’s not elite by any means, but he does a good enough job, as long as he’s not playing center.

In this prediction, Dallas goes with a couple of reserve tackles as they keep Terence Steele and Ty Nsekhe who edge out Brandon Knight (who never seemed to be a favorite of this staff). Having said that, Nsekhe could just as easily be on his way out if Josh Ball would suddenly get healthy. The veteran had more than his share of struggles this preseason and could even be let go for another reserve guard.

The backups inside for Dallas end up being Connor McGovern and Matt Farniok. McGovern will be the active one on game day and he can play all three interior positions. The same can be said of Farniok which is why the rookie finds himself on the team to start the season.
