Dallas Cowboys Defensive Line (9)

DeMarcus Lawrence, Carlos Watkins, Brent Urban, Randy Gregory, Osa Odighizuwa, Dorance Armstrong, Tarell Basham, Chauncey Golston, Quinton Bohanna | PUP – Neville Gallimore

In this prediction, the Cowboys go nine deep along the defensive line. Their starting four end up being DeMarcus Lawrence, Carlos Watkins, Brent Urban, and Randy Gregory. Neville Gallimore likely would have been one of the starters but his elbow injury could send him to the PUP, which is what happens in this prediction.

Rookie Osa Odighizuwa is the primary reserve at three-technique and he can even play on the edge if needed. He beats out Trysten Hill as they finally admit their mistake in allowing Rod Marinelli anywhere near their war room. Of course, they didn’t learn from their mistake since Dan Quinn seemed to have more input than a coordinator should, but we all know the Dallas Cowboys front office is like a zebra. Those stripes will never change.

They roll with three reserve defensive ends electing to keep Dorance Armstrong who has had a great preseason as well as Tarell Basham and rookie Chauncey Golston. Neither of them has been overly impressive but they still showed more than Bradlee Anae who is a fan-favorite but has yet to really impress.
