Pete Carroll was happy with his squad after a dominating performance in their preseason finale. The Seattle Seahawks were able to make it look easy with a 27-0 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, which would end up being their only win of the preseason.

Finishing 1-2 isn’t a concern in the playoffs but Carroll wasn’t too pleased with their performance in the first two losses. He praised his team for their effort this weekend and while it was all reserves, he still liked seeing a positive step being made before they turn their focus to the Indianapolis Colts for their showdown on Sept. 12 to kick off the regular season.

"“After the first couple games, kind of forgot about how we can play around here. And the guys really did a nice job tonight,” Carroll said via ESPN. “We didn’t change the approach and who played and all that, with a few exceptions. It was just a really nice effort.”"

Seattle continues to be the most consistent team in their division even with clubs such as the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams constantly making headway — and getting preseason hype.

They should again be the favorites in the NFC West this season due to their veteran leadership under center as well as their depth all around the roster.
