New York Jets Fantasy Football Guide

Zach Wilson is a sneaky good value in all formats. We know the Jets will be throwing the ball a lot—that’s what teams tend to do when they’re losing—and Wilson has rushing upside. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was rostered in the majority of leagues by the end of the season.

This backfield disgusts me. All signs indicate a disastrous running-back-by-committee approach, thus hurting the chances of a Michael Carter breakout season. For as talented as he is, Carter simply hasn’t gained an upper hand, yet. Besides, Robert Saleh and offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur come from a system that favors committees and the hot hand. If anything, I’d take a late-round flier on Tevin Coleman or an even later-round flier on Ty Johnson.

I’m a huge fan of Elijah Moore and I think he found a great spot to become a true WR1. But let’s not forget Corey Davis. He’s been heavily targeted by Wilson throughout the preseason and appears to be in line for WR1-like targets.

I’d happily take Moore or Davis, but not both in a league. For what it’s worth, I think Moore can have the best season among rookie receivers. No tight ends to see here, folks. Stay tuned for the NFC guide soon…
