Houston Texans Fantasy Football Guide

Tyrod Taylor is a fantastic value. We know he has rushing upside, and we should expect Houston to throw the ball a ton. He’s practically going undrafted in most leagues. Why not take a flier on him in deeper leagues or best ball formats?

This backfield is a mess, and it’s not the last time I’ll say that in this article. David Johnson appears to be the team’s third-down back, but there are more attractive pass-catching backs in that range. Phillip Lindsay could have some decent weeks if he earns the lead role. Don’t expect anything crazy, though.

Brandin Cooks is a terrific value. Even without Deshaun Watson, Cooks can still post another 1,000-yard season on a team that, again, should throw the ball a ton. He’s a great pick for your bench with legit upside to start every week. You should definitely monitor his quarterback situation, though.

I really like Nico Collins in deep leagues, as well as in best ball and dynasty. He’s just a good player with an easy path to be a WR2, and even a WR1 if Cooks misses time again. No tight ends to be found here, though Brevin Jordan isn’t a bad dynasty pick at the position.
