Baltimore Ravens Fantasy Football Guide

Lamar Jackson is one of the few quarterbacks with legit QB1 potential. I do expect him to throw the ball more after Baltimore clearly prioritized adding receivers. Similarly to Mahomes, be cautious about when you draft him.

With J.K. Dobbins out for the season, I like Gus Edwards to an extent. Keep in mind the Ravens are not one to target their running backs often. In the last two years under offensive coordinator Greg Roman, Baltimore running backs saw a total of 41 and 38 targets, respectively. Expect Edwards to be a borderline flex option each week. This offense simply isn’t built to sustain a dual-threat running back when they have the best rushing quarterback in football.

I like Rashod Bateman as a player and while I think he’s a good fit for what Baltimore wants to do, I worry the Ravens still won’t be throwing the ball enough. I’d take Elijah Moore, Marquez Callaway, Terrace Marshall or Rondale Moore before I took Bateman.

Marquise Brown is an interesting late-round target. He fits the mold of a streaky home-run hitter, but his play last season was surprisingly consistent. He averaged 16 points per game over the last six weeks on six-ish targets per game. I wouldn’t mind drafting him if players like Antonio Brown and Corey Davis were taken in that range.

Calling it now: Sammy Watkins will be the most sought-after waiver addition following a massive Week 1 performance… only to fail to replicate that showing throughout the season. Mark Andrews is my TE6, so if you can’t get a top-five tight end, you better pray Andrews is still there. The drop-off in tight ends is real. He’ll be involved enough in the offense to be a weekly fantasy starter, but don’t expect TE1 numbers every week.
