Pick Analysis. EDGE. Zach Harrison. 15. player. 123. Scouting Report. Ohio State

15. Dallas Cowboys: Zach Harrison, EDGE, Ohio State

Entering the 2021 season, the Dallas Cowboys have a lot of questions to answer on the defensive side of the ball. And after adding a lot of help to the secondary, most of those questions will center around their defensive line.

Dallas has one star on the line in DeMarcus Lawrence but that’s their only proven weapon. Randy Gregory has been a good story since he’s shaken off many of his demons and is becoming a leader for the team but we still don’t know if he’s a legit starter for a full 17 games yet.

In the middle, they have rookie Osa Odighizuwa who they hope can become a solid three-technique but again, that’s about it. With this pick they can go with either a tackle or an end and it would be a huge help but we settle with an edge player since Zach Harrison from Ohio State offers them the most upside.

Harrison is a big-bodied player at 6-foot-6 and 260-pounds but there’s a lot of projection with this selection. He has yet to really take on a full-time starting role but he has everything you need to be a star. And the Buckeyes usually produce quality defensive ends, so chances are this is a name you will hear in the first round next spring.
