30. Green Bay Packers: Christian Harris, LB, Alabama

This coming offseason will be weird for the Green Bay Packers and that’s saying something after the one they just had. Never before has anyone wondered if a team was going to lose their star quarterback to Jeopardy, but there were some whispers as Aaron Rodgers and the front office had some problems — and he killed it as a guest host.

Of course, no one really ever thought he was going to hang up the cleats in exchange for the cue cards full-time but Rodgers was making it very clear that things needed to change or he would not return. Then he did return and ripped the team openly upon his return.

The response from Green Bay? They made a deal with Rodgers that could lead to his departure in 2022 and since everyone knows about this, it greatly mitigates their bargaining power.

Having said all that, the Packers should be doing everything in their power to add players that will convince A-Rod to stay. But they never do, so this pick goes to the defensive side of the ball as they take Alabama linebacker Christian Harris.

Green Bay needs more talent in the middle of their defense and Harris is a player who can do just about anything they need from inside linebacker. He’s able to play in coverage, against the run, and even picks up sacks on the blitz. All things considered, this could be a solid pick for them.
