Here are 5 bold predictions for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2021 NFL Season as they look to once again become contenders in the NFC East

The Dallas Cowboys had a season to forget in 2020 and while we could try and forgive it since Dak Prescott was hurt, we probably shouldn’t. Even before he went down, they were just 2-3 and both wins came courtesy of a huge play in the waning minutes.

This isn’t to say they should just throw in the towel but there’s a lot of work for Dallas to do in order to become the team they want to be.

Here we look ahead to their 2021 season and make five bold predictions for the team as they look to reach their potential.

Dallas Cowboys bold prediction No. 5: Randy Gregory leads the team in sacks

Randy Gregory has been absent for 58 games while appearing in just 38 over the past six seasons. Multiple suspensions have been the main reason but Gregory is finally on the right path and should be on the field for every game this season, barring an injury that is.

Should he be able to stay healthy, Gregory could finally reach his immense potential. It’s been a long time since he was coming into the league but he was one of the most impressive collegiate pass-rushers when he was at Nebraska and he’s shown glimpses in his brief NFL appearances of being that same player.

In this first bold prediction, Gregory finally pays the Cowboys back for their patience and ends up leading the team in sacks this season with more than 15.
