The Fantasy Football season is upon us and things could get crazy in 2021. We have five bold predictions for this year in fantasy.

We are just days away from logging off at work, driving home (or walking three feet to the couch), flipping on the TV with our favorite snacks, kicking our feet back, relaxing, and enjoying the game we all love. The 2021 NFL season is practically here.

With a majority of the fantasy football drafts completed, all we can do is wait, watch, and pray that our countless hours of research on who to draft as our backup running back was all for nothing.

But what will become of our fantasy football takes that need to cool before you touch?

5. Jalen Hurts will be a top-5 quarterback in fantasy football

What did it take to be in the top five quarterbacks last season? At least 369 fantasy points in leagues that are four points per passing touchdown and one point per 25 passing yards. That is an average of 23 points per game. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has a path to this with the use of his legs.

In his four games started last season, Hurts rushed the ball 46 times for 272 yards and three touchdowns. Prorated for a 17-game season, he would have 195 rushes for 1,156 yards and 12 touchdowns. That is an additional 187.6 fantasy points on top of whatever he does as a passer.

In those four starts, he had 919 yards and five touchdowns. This would equate to 3,676 yards and 20 touchdowns throughout an entire season. With the same scoring in mind, this production would turn into 227 fantasy points. Add in the 187 points from his rushing ability and we are looking at just over 400 fantasy points. It won’t be easy, but the path is clear.
