NFL Power Rankings, Week 2: Saints blow by Packers, Kyler and Cardinals shine

Carson Wentz defied the odds as he was able to play in Week 1 for the Indianapolis Colts despite needing surgery during the preseason. It was a major feat for him, and he started out the day well.
Wentz and the Colts went 72 yards on 14 plays to take a 3-0 lead against the Seattle Seahawks. However, they wound up down 14-3 before the Colts had another solid drive. This time, they went seven plays and covered 68 yards before Wentz hit Zach pascal from 10 yards out for his first touchdown in the blue and white.
Again, the defense struggled as they surrendered a 69-yard touchdown from Russell Wilson to Tyler Lockett — his second of the game. That put them behind 21-10 heading into the break.
Indianapolis kept fighting and the defense held the Seahawks to just seven points in the second half. The only problem was, the Colts offense had only six points themselves in the final 30 minutes of the game.
Wentz ended up with 251 yards and two touchdowns on 25-of-38 passing and had no picks. He did have one fumble, but that was on a fourth-and-1 sneak where he didn’t even get the first-down anyway. Overall, it was a decent performance from him but the team overall needs to get a little better going forward.
