Plays on Monday Night Football vs. Baltimore Ravens

A prime-time game awaits the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football as they host the Baltimore Ravens. Heading into this one, the Ravens are reeling due to several offseason injuries including the loss of their top three running backs, J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, and Justice Hill, and one of their starting cornerbacks, Marcus Peters.

While no one ever wants to see an injury, the fact is they happen and teams can take advantage of that when they do face off with someone struggling with attrition the way Baltimore is. That’s one thing Alex Perl of Just Blog Baby thinks can happen for Vegas, and specifically, Henry Ruggs, who he says has a lot to prove in Week 1.

"“The expectations are high for Ruggs, especially considering he was never even the top wideout in college at Alabama. But times have changed, and with such a high investment in Ruggs, as well as the Ravens being down one of their top corners, Ruggs should prove that he is ready to take on a heavy bulk of targets from Carr.” — Perl, Just Blog Baby"

After an 8-8 campaign in 2020, Las Vegas comes in with their head coach, Jon Gruden, and general manager, Mike Mayock, needing to prove they’re the right people for the job. A win in Week 1 would surely help them start to win over some of the doubters.
