2022 NFL Mock Draft – Picks No. 21-24

16. . C (Iowa). Buffalo Bills. Tyler Linderbaum. 21. player

Not only has the Bills interior offensive line had better days than in Week 1 but there could be some cap-saving measures to release Mitch Morse before the 2022 season. As such, Tyler Linderbaum would make a ton of sense. Extremely athletic and agile, making him able to pull and move with ease, the Iowa product is extremely savvy at the position and should only improve as he’s only played it for a few years now.

22. player. 13. . EDGE (Purdue). Los Angeles Chargers. George Karlaftis

Joey Bosa is on the edge for the Chargers for the long haul but they are still somewhat searching for his running mate on the oppostie size. Perhaps George Karlaftis could be that guy.

Karlaftis is a bit of a gamble right now as he barely played in 2020 but starred as a freshman in 2019 with 17 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. If he can recapture some of that magic this season for the Boilermakers, his 6-foot-4, 275-pound frame could be perfect opposite Bosa.

WR (Ohio State). Cleveland Browns. Garrett Wilson. 23. player. 53.

If you’ve ever interacted with a Browns fan, you know that they tend to have an affinity for Ohio State players, which makes sense. And lucky for them, it makes sense for the franchise to take Garrett Wilson in this spot because he fills a huge need.

While loaded now, Cleveland could thin out at wide receiver after this year with either Odell Beckham Jr. or Jarvis Landry leaving. Wilson could step into that void as an uber-athletic former 5-star who is capable of elite playmaking and being a target hog alike in this offense.

24. player. 54. . LB (Georgia). Philadelphia Eagles. Nakobe Dean

(Pick via Miami Dolphins) – Back on the clock again with their bevy of picks, the Eagles use their third to address another level of the defense and the long-standing hole at linebacker. While Nakobe Dean is a bit undersized, everything else about his game says that he’s going to be a stud at the NFL level. Sometimes, you have to trust the tape and not the prototypes and Dean is a prime example of that.
