2022 NFL Mock Draft – Picks No. 29-32

EDGE (Georgia). New York Jets. Adam Anderson. 29. player. 30.

(Pick via Seattle Seahawks) – Adam Anderson was a player who was only used in rotational spots for Georgia prior to 2021 but showed so much potential in those limited reps. Now a starter, he’s already shining with a sack in each of his first two games. He’s unbelievably explosive off the edge and would give the Jets a lightning-quick beast to pair with Carl Lawson once the veteran returns in 2022.

15. . WR (Arkansas). New Orleans Saints. Treylon Burks. 30. player

With Michael Thomas out, the Saints wide receiver corps leaves a ton to be desired. This group has no one with any proven NFL experience on it, which means they need an upgrade if they are going to move forward with Jameis Winston.

Wide receivers like Treylon Burks who are 6-foot-3, 238 pounds are an absolute anomaly, largely because of the way he can move at that size. He would be a great complement to Thomas in this passing attack and give Winston more options for downfield targets.

CB (Washington). Kansas City Chiefs. Trent McDuffie. 31. player. 124.

Somehow, the Chiefs have continued to find cornerbacks who come in and play well. They are banking on that again in 2021 with Mike Hughes and Deandre Baker on the roster. But they could make life easier on themselves with someone like Trent McDuffie. Though he’s not a perfect coverage cornerback in man, he’s elite already against the run and a sure tackler in the open field as well. With smooth feet and hips to develop as well, he’d be a huge asset for Kansas City.

48. . OL (UCLA). Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sean Rhyan. 32. player

After bringing the band back together for another run at a Super Bowl, the Buccaneers are going to have tough decisions to make for the 2022 season and beyond. Part of that might include having to let guard Alex Cappa walk.

If that happens, they’ll need a replacement and Sean Rhyan would make a ton of sense. With experience at guard and tackle at UCLA, he’s performed well in every role and could be a versatile plug-and-play piece to keep Tom Brady upright until he’s 50.
