The Cleveland Browns host the Houston Texans in NFL Week 2 and we have bold predictions for the home team as they aim to get their first win of 2021.

Even though the Cleveland Browns lost to the reigning AFC Champion Chiefs in Week 1, fans have to feel good about the team. Baker Mayfield looked great outside of one throw, the defense was far from a sieve against the best offense in the NFL, and the team simply went toe-to-toe with a bonafide Super Bowl contender. Now they’ll try to continue that good play as they welcome the Houston Texans for their home-opener at FirstEnergy Stadium in Week 2.

The Texans handled the Jaguars shockingly easily in Week 1 but, at the end of the day, Houston is still considered one of the league’s bottom-feeders in the 2021 season. Thus, the Browns should have a clear advantage. But how big of a statement can they make in this game?

To put it plainly, quite a big one. And that will be clear as you peruse our five bold predictions for the Cleveland Browns against the Texans.

5. Anthony Schwartz gets his first 100-yard game for the Cleveland Browns

With Odell Beckham Jr. out of the lineup in Week 1, we knew some of the depth wide receivers for the Browns were going to have to step up and perform. However, we didn’t know that speedy rookie Anthony Schwartz was going to have as big of a role as he did.

The third-round rookie out of Auburn was electric with his game-changing speed as he reeled off a number of big plays, catching three of five targets for 69 yards while also taking a rush for 17 yards. And now he’s ready to one-up that showing on Sunday in Week 2.

Schwartz has been listed as questionable but it seems as if he’s certainly on track to play against the Texans. Cleveland will look to get that speed into open space and Houston won’t have the juice to keep up, allowing the newcomer to break off a couple of big plays and ultimately notch the first 100-yard receiving game of his career.
