The Dallas Cowboys look to get back on track in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Here are 5 bold predictions for their upcoming game.

Week 2 can’t get here fast enough for the Dallas Cowboys.

Kicking things off on Thursday Night Football in Week 1 had its perks, including extra time before their next game. But when that game ended in a heartbreaking last-second loss, that just gave them extra time before being able to get the poor taste out of their mouths.

Now as we are quickly approaching the weekend, we look ahead to their next opportunity to prove themselves as we offer up five bold predictions for Dallas against the Los Angeles Chargers.

5. Trevon Diggs gets another pick

A new-look Dallas defense had a tough road test in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but they had their moments. One of those was when Trevon Diggs took advantage of a dropped pass and ended up scoring an interception off of Tom Brady.

Now they again head on the road, this time to Los Angeles, where they face another good quarterback in Justin Herbert. Of course, Herbert is on the opposite age spectrum as Brady but he presents similar problems.

Herbert is a very accurate passer who spreads the ball around to any, and everyone on offense. Having said that, he’s different in Brady in that he will take more risks with his throws and this Cowboys defense proved they can be opportunistic, especially Diggs.

Look for the second-year player to get his second interception on Sunday, giving him multiple picks in each of his first two campaigns. That may not sound like much, but Dallas fans know how rare it is to see corners actually take the ball away. Diggs started to change that in 2020 and continues to do so here.
