Breaking down the DraftKings DFS fantasy football slate for NFL Week 2 and making our picks at each position before building our best lineup.

We’re back for another slate of DraftKings NFL action for DFS fantasy football players to get after. This is going to be a fun Week 2 slate in terms of lineup construction on DraftKings as we won’t have the Chiefs, Ravens, Packers or even the Lions to work with and pick from.

That raises the bar, which also means more fun for us. It also means that you could probably use some advice and help with your DraftKings NFL picks for Week 2. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Focusing on the Sunday main slate, we’re looking at the best options at each position before building a lineup for tournament play.

DraftKings NFL picks Week 2: Quarterback

Kyler Murray ($8,200) is the most expensive quarterback on the main slate and, though the Cardinals signal-caller lit it up last week, it’s hard to pay up this much for him, even against a Vikings defense that was generous.

Russell Wilson ($7,500) and Josh Allen ($7,200) present substantially better values than Kyler, however, at much cheaper price points. Wilson and the Seahawks have a better matchup against the Titans that Murray torched in Week 1 but Allen has traditionally had his way with the Dolphins and could be motivated for a bounce-back game.

While I’m wary of just how much Tom Brady ($6,900) will throw in a likely blowout of the Falcons, the choice between Dak Prescott ($6,800) and Justin Herbert ($6,700) is one with which you can’t really go wrong. There are going to be points galore between the Cowboys and Chargers and both quarterbacks can absolutely sling it.

A bit lower in price, I’m not so much intrigued by Jalen Hurts ($6,500) or Kirk Cousins ($6,200) but there could be value in Matthew Stafford ($6,400) or Baker Mayfield ($6,000) in favorable matchups. Much like Brady, though, the worry with Mayfield is there not being a need to throw for much of the second half.

For the values in Week 2, Joe Burrow ($5,800) presents upside against a sneaky-bad Chicago defense after throwing for two touchdowns and 261 yards last week. Also, don’t totally overlook Mac Jones ($5,400) after an impressive debut and now facing a Jets defense that might be the worst in the NFL.
