DraftKings NFL picks Week 2: Tight End
With no Travis Kelce on the slate as he plays in primetime on Sunday, we start with Darren Waller ($7,600) who is in a tough matchup. Even with that, whenever you have a player who got almost 20 targets last week, it’s hard to ignore him but he’s also exceptionally expensive, $1,200 more than George Kittle ($6,400) to be exact as Kittle is in a good matchup and had a nice Week 1.
Kyle Pitts ($5,200) was trendy in his debut but let down and I don’t see him having success against the Bucs. Contrarily, Rob Gronkowski ($4,700) dominated the Cowboys but I don’t see that being the same type of performance for the second week in a row.
With that said, Noah Fant ($4,200) and Tyler Higbee ($4,100) are intriguing options as both players showed out well in Week 1 and have pretty good matchups in Week 2. But Jared Cook ($3,900) is the best value on the slate as the Chargers tight end garnered eight targets last week and could now be in a huge shootout with the Cowboys.
For deep value, I don’t mind David Njoku ($3,600) or Gerald Everett ($3,600) at the same price point on DraftKings as both players could get solid work and fall into the end zone.
