2021 NFL Power Rankings, Week 3: Ravens knock off Chiefs, Raiders crack top 10

Josh Allen still doesn’t look like the MVP candidate we saw for the entire 2020 season but he didn’t need to when the Buffalo Bills took on the Miami Dolphins. The Bills routed Miami by a score of 35-0 and since they jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter — and the Dolphins lost starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa — the Bills were able to just play keep away.
The Bills had 30 rushes in the game for 143 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Devin Singletary led the way with 82 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries and Zach Moss added two touchdowns on eight rushes for 26 yards.
Allen finished with 179 yards on 17-of-33 passing with two touchdowns and a pick. He added 35 yards on the ground, continuing to be a dual-threat player.
Buffalo’s defense really stood out in this one as they not only held the Dolphins scoreless but they recorded six sacks, an interception, and recovered two fumbles. After Tua went down, Miami turned to Jacoby Brissett and he was only able to throw for 169 yards and the ground game was stuffed for just 71 yards on 20 rushes.
They were able to put a frustrating start in Week 1 behind them and now sit at 1-1 in a three-way tie with the Dolphins and Patriots for first place in the AFC East.
