2021 NFL Power Rankings, Week 3: Ravens knock off Chiefs, Raiders crack top 10

They took their foot off the gas in Week 1 and held on for a win in Detroit, and then in Week 2, they did just enough to sneak out of Philly with their second win of the season in as many games.
This one was even closer as the San Francisco 49ers beat the Philadelphia Eagles 17-11 in a game where they nearly gave up two splash plays that could have been the difference. One was a long touchdown to wide receiver Jalen Reagor which was called a touchdown on the field. On replay, it was easy to see he was out of bounds and the play was rightfully reversed.
Later, Philadelphia connected on a 91-yard pass from Jalen Hurts to Quez Watkins. The 49ers fought through that and had a goal-line stand which ended with wide receiver Greg Ward throwing the ball away on fourth down.
It was another team effort as the 49ers got 189 yards and a touchdown out of Jimmy Garoppolo and had 117 yards on 38 carries. seven different players recorded runs on the day and the most yards were courtesy of Elijah Mitchell who had 42.
They continue to find ways to win and even though Jimmy G has his detractors, they’re really hard to beat when he’s under center.
