Kyler Murray is a big winner from NFL Week 2 as his play is just unreal right now while Zach Wilson’s four picks make him a loser. Who joins these QBs?

NFL Week 2 gave us a pretty wild Sunday, at least in the later parts of the day. The early afternoon slate was honestly full of quite a few dud games that fans had to suffer through. But they were then rewarded with an unbelievably excited late afternoon slate of games and an instant classic on Sunday Night Football between the Ravens and Chiefs.

Some of the things we were certain of after the first week now look a little less clear after NFL Week 2. Furthermore, there are new narratives that we must start to assess. To put it plainly, we’re learning on the fly, so it might be best to just look at the week we’re coming out of and assess it individually at this point.

As such, we’re handing out winners and losers from NFL Week 2.

NFL Week 2 Winner: Kyler Murray

Granted, Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals needed Vikings kicker Greg Joseph to miss “an easy one” as time expired to win, but it’s hard not to just sit back in awe of the Arizona quarterback.

Sure, he threw two interceptions against Minnesota but the Cardinals aren’t close in that game if not for his playmaking. He threw for 400 yards with three touchdowns while also rushing for another, though he only took off five times on the day. This comes one week after he threw for 289 yards with four touchdowns and one pick with another rushing score in the opener.

It’s not just the numbers, though. Murray is playing like he’s in the back yard with his buddies in middle school. He’s evading pass rushers scampering around almost constantly and then threading balls into windows or waiting for his elite receivers to find open space. It’s truly remarkable to watch and I’m simply praying we get 15 more games of this solely for enjoyment purposes.
