8. Minnesota Vikings: Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

The early part of the 2020 season has not gone as expected for the Minnesota Vikings. They’re sitting at 0-2 but what’s most frustrating is the fact that they’ve been close in e ach game.

In Week 1, they lost in overtime against the Cincinnati Bengals after putting up an impressive comeback. Then in Week 2, they were up against the Arizona Cardinals and fell short again, although this time it was even more heartbreaking.

Minnesota managed to get down field and had a game-winning kick set up. Unfortunately, Greg Joseph was wide right on the attempt and they lost 34-33. The kicking woes continue to be a major issue for the Vikings and they need to do all they can to make sure games don’t come down to the wire as this one did. One way to help in that regard would be to add some help at cornerback, which they do here with the selection of Andrew Booth, Jr. from Clemson.

Booth has ascended to the No. 1 cornerback role this season and the hype around him continues to grow. He should have no problem being a day one starter and the Vikings should feel comfortable taking him at this spot even with their recent string of misses in Round 1 at the position.
